No multiplayer or co-op mode has been officially announced for Phantom Blade Zero. The official Steam listing currently labels the game single-player, which is the clearest answer for players deciding whether to buy it for online play.
Confirmed play mode
The Steam listing labels the game single-player. That is the current confirmed answer for players asking whether they can play with friends. It should be treated as the store's present product information, not as a prediction that no online feature could ever be announced later.
No confirmed co-op or PvP details
There is no published official rule set for co-op, matchmaking, invasions, competitive modes, cross-play, or online progression. Social-media posts and trailer speculation do not replace an announcement from S-GAME or an updated official store listing. Avoid buying the game on the assumption that a multiplayer mode exists.

The official release date is October 29, 2026. Before purchase, revisit the Steam, PlayStation, or Epic listing for the current mode labels in your region. If S-GAME announces any online feature, this guide should be updated from that direct source instead of guessing from gameplay footage.
